Team expansion at SI
Strategic Investment Management (SI), the Edinburgh-based niche investment boutique, has announced two new appointments. With six limited partnerships launched and three successful disposals to date, SI has appointed Garry Hodson and Marcus Honig as Sales Executives to bolster its Business Development team.
Garry has over 17 years experience in financial services, dealing with intermediaries specialising with high net worth clients. He joins SI from Winterthur Life where he was a Business Development Manager in the West of Scotland. Prior to that, he was an Account Manager with Scottish Widows and held posts in Scotland and the north of England.
Marcus joins SI from Scottish Widows’ London office, where he was an Account Manager responsible for a key panel of 14 London-based financial advisers, including Bates Investments and Positive Solutions. Before this, he was with Chase de Vere IFA. Both Marcus and Garry will be part of a team responsible for expanding the sales distribution of SI and promoting the brand.
