The SI management team brings a wealth of property investment experience to the Company. With skills in corporate finance, law, equity raising and deal management, the SI team provides solid strategic input into all our property investment products.
Executive Chairman and co-founder of SI, Graham is a highly experienced corporate financier. A qualified lawyer, he worked with Shepherd & Wedderburn and Noble Grossart before setting up Merchant Investments Ltd in 1994, a company specialising in the management of businesses in both the traditional and technology sectors.
In 1997, he co-founded Sigma, an AIM-listed UK specialist asset management and advisory group focusing on specialist fund management, commercialisation of University IP and Property. SI is one of the main operating subsidiaries of Sigma Capital Group plc.
As MD of SI, Graham has overall responsibility for delivering the strategic and operational objectives of the Company, bringing to his role his core business skills in corporate law and corporate finance.
As Operations Director of SI, Gregor’s primary responsibility is for the successful transaction management of SI’s property investments. He works in close collaboration with SI’s professional advisers and debt funders. To his role, he brings his core business skills in corporate finance, deal management and business development. Since joining SI in 2005, he has completed deals totalling nearly £300m.
Peter works with the other senior members of the team to source new investment opportunities and to take day to day control of the ongoing asset management of the properties acquired by our funds. He works closely with our advisors to ensure that our assets are managed efficiently so as to maximise values going forward.
Peter is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 16 years experience in the property industry. Prior to joining SI Peter was Property Director with a substantial private property company in Edinburgh dealing with all aspects of the acquisition, disposal and asset management of the companies property assets. Prior to that he had spent the previous 13 years working in the property consultancy profession. During this time Peter worked with a wide range of clients on investment and development projects as well as advising occupiers on the acquisition and disposal of their premises.
With over 18 years experience in the property markets Gwynn has a wealth of expertise and knowledge, his particular specialism being in the commercial property investment markets. He is an honours graduate of Aberdeen Universty, where he studied Land Economy, and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Prior to joining SI, Gwynn was a Director of investment and valuation at a leading property consultancy. In addition to his wide ranging property experience and contacts, Gwynn is renowned for his technical ability, integrity and professionalism.
As Finance Director, Marilyn is responsible for the overall financial management and control of SI and its property limited partnerships. As Compliance Officer, she ensures that SI complies with the regulatory requirements of the Financial Services Authority. She was appointed Finance Director in 2001.
Marilyn qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte Haskins & Sells. She moved to Pannell Kerr Forster in 1985, spending eight years in their corporate finance department. In 1993, she set up her own business advisory practice, working with local businesses and also undertaking work for the DTI, the Competition Commission and public limited companies including Northamber plc. She went on to join Northamber plc, being appointed Finance Director in 1997. In January 2000, Marilyn joined Sigma Capital Group plc, SI’s holding company.
Marilyn is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Stuart’s principal responsibilities include investor relations, day to day fund operations and the preparation of fund accounts.
Stuart is a qualified management accountant with over ten years’ experience.
